As you can see on the map above Temperate Deciduous Forests can be found in the eastern half of North America and also the middle of Europe. In Asia there are many of these forests. Some of the main areas that they are located in are Southeast Russia, Japan and also Eastern China.

Temperate Deciduous Forest has four seasons including fall, spring, summer and winter. The average rainfall for Temperate Deciduous Forest is 76.2cm to 152.4cm a year. This precipitation is distributed evenly throughout the year. The average temperature is around 10 degrees Celsius. The temperature from January to February is around 0-1 degrees Celsius. From March to May it is from 5-15 degrees Celsius. In June the temperature is around 20 degrees then goes up to 22 degrees Celsius around July and down to 21 degrees around August. Then from September to October the temperature goes down from 19 degrees to 11 degrees Celsius.
